WHAT IS FRIENDS OF SKREI?
Friends of SKREI is a multidisciplinary network of organisations, public authorities and individuals committed to raising awareness of the importance of Atlantic Cod as a global natural resource, trading good, foodstuff and international cultural influencer in the past, present and future. Friends of SKREI brings together actors and partners who recognise the future challenges for Skrei, Atlantic Cod fisheries and cultural institutions and wish to collaborate cross-sectors to develop new opportunities between heritage, gastronomy and tourism. As a member you can benefit from:
- a series of online events about marine history, heritage, sustainability, culture and trade
- a quarterly newsletter
- networking events
- Apply for grants to develop cross-disciplinary projects
HOW TO BECOME A FRIEND
We are now looking for new members to join the Friends of Skrei network, with some activities starting in January 2021. The participation is free, and as a member, you can benefit from a series of online events, a quarterly newsletter, and networking opportunities. The network will also function as a platform to establish connections and develop cross-disciplinary projects between heritage, arts, gastronomy and sustainability.
